On January 14th, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that the Atlanta Braves would be moving their AAA Affiliate, our Richmond Braves, to the Atlanta suburb of Gwinnett. This follows years of neglect of an invaluable asset by our city leadership. They took our baseball team for granted, and now the citizens and fans of the central Virginia region may have to pay the price. The Atlanta officials have called us out on Strike Three - We want to appeal that call. Give us one last swing.

It's time to finally, for the first time as a city - as a region - to stand and be heard. We love our Braves. We want them to stay. It's not too late for Atlanta to change it's mind about moving OUR Braves. Let's convince Atlanta that it's beneficial for them to keep their developed fan base in Virginia. Despite our city's broken leadership, we support our team staying for another 40 years.
